Do you feel that the one day class mandated by the state was really not enough material to make you a competent boater? There are 10 additional courses reserved exclusively for members, that LRSPS is making available to the public.

These courses include the Advanced Grade courses of Seamanship, Piloting, Advanced Piloting, Jr. Navigation and Navigation. Elective courses include: Cruise Planning, Weather, Engine Maintenance, Marine Electronics and Sail. Each of these courses involve a 2hr class, one night a week for 8 weeks. Some courses are a little longer. An example of costs for Seamanship is $90.00.
